Academic Resources

The Academic Resources section helps students, scholars and region enthusiasts with orientation in the world of Central Asian/Caucasian/Eurasian studies. The Conferences, Societies, and Organizations section includes links to links to regional studies conferences, societies, think tanks and university-based centers. The Language Resources section includes links to dictionaries, translation tools, and learning apps for all regional languages and Russian. The Study Abroad Resources section includes information on scholarships and programs for each country. Our Digital Projects, Archives, and Tools section includes a variety of sources such as digital projects, GIS data, and digital archives. Finally, the Journals section lists the major journals related to our field of study.

The new opportunities for learning and research created by the development of digital academic resources are particularly valuable with the conditions of constrained field research due to the pandemic and the closure of spaces from authoritarian consolidations and worsening relations between states.
